Snowfall

Terms of Sale and License

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Who we are

Snowfall is made by Simone Giammusso, VAT number IT02180360857 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@snowfallmac.com.

These terms apply when you buy Snowfall and when you use it. By buying or using Snowfall you agree to them.

2. Our reseller: Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle collects payment, charges the applicable taxes (such as VAT) and issues your receipt.

3. What you get

Snowfall is a one-time purchase. When your payment is complete you receive a license key and a link to download the app. The price is shown on our website and at checkout, where any taxes for your country are added.

4. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use Snowfall on up to 3 Macs that you own or control at the same time. You can move the license to another Mac by deactivating it on one of them.

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent or publish your license key, or use it beyond the 3-Mac limit;
  • redistribute the app or its disk image;
  • reverse engineer, modify or circumvent the activation of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

Snowfall remains our property; you buy a license to use it, not the software itself.

5. Activation

Snowfall needs to be activated once, online. After that it works offline and checks its license from time to time when a connection is available. If your purchase is refunded or charged back, the license is revoked and Snowfall stops working on all your Macs.

6. Updates

We may publish updates, which Snowfall offers to install automatically. Updates are covered by these terms. We are not obliged to provide updates or new features, nor to keep supporting older versions of macOS.

7. Requirements

Snowfall requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later on a Mac with Apple silicon, and the Accessibility permission to show snow on desktop icons and the Dock. Please check that your Mac meets these requirements before buying.

8. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy.

9. Warranty and liability

Snowfall is a decorative app provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that it will run without interruption or errors, or that it suits a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Snowfall.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought Snowfall.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
